NEED TO KNOW

There are certain circumstances when we will be unable to perform surgery on your pet. Our Clinic programs are dedicated to helping communities throughout Idaho maintain a sustainable pet population by offering easy access to exceptional, affordable, spay and neuter surgery, vaccination and microchip services.

 

WEIGHT RESTRICTION 

We are unable to provide services for dogs over 99 lbs.

 

AGGRESSIVE 

To ensure the safety of our Veterinary Team, and other patients we will not be able to perform surgery on your pet if the exhibit any form of aggressive behavior (biting, snapping, growling, etc.).

 

BLOOD DISORDERS/ CLOTTING DISORDERS

If your pet has a prolonged clotting time you will need to seek individualized care through your primary care veterinarian.

 

CHRONIC/ ACUTE ILLNESS

If your pet has a chronic illness such as: Kidney Failure, Liver Failure, Diabetes, Cancer, Epilepsy, Hypothyroidism, Hyperthyroidism, Lymphedema, etc., you will need to seek individualized care through your your pet’s primary care veterinarian.

 

INFECTION

If your pet has a skin infection, upper respiratory infection, vomiting or diarrhea you will need to seek individualized care through your your pet’s primary care veterinarian.

 

HEART MURMURS/ CARDIAC CONDITIONS

If your pet has a heart murmur or cardiac condition we will be unable to do the surgery as we do not have the specialized equipment with the ability to monitor heart rhythm / ECG and blood pressure during surgery. We are also unable to stock the appropriate cardiac medications your pet may need.

Cats must weigh 2lbs or more. Dogs must weigh between 4-99lbs, inclusive.
