At this time, SNIP will remain open with regular business hours throughout this COVID pandemic. We are committed to providing continued care for our patients, while protecting our staff, clients, and community. In the unfortunate event that our veterinarian or team members become ill, we may be required to adjust the hours of operation and reschedule appointments.
If you are sick, please stay home and arrange for a healthy family member or friend to bring your pet to the appointment.
We understand families want to be supportive of their pets but please limit the number of individuals accompanying your pet to the clinic.
We have adopted the following procedures per CDC Infection Prevention and Control recommendation for Veterinary Clinics:
-Upon arrival, stand masked in line 6 feet apart until you reach the staff attendant.
-An attendant will greet you at the door with intake paperwork and an assigned number.
-You will then return to your vehicle to complete intake paperwork.
-Numbers will be placed inside the clinic window. When your number is posted, you may walk your pet to the door and the attendant will escort them into the clinic.
-All payments must be made by credit or debit card.
-Upon arrival, stand in line 6 feet apart until you reach the staff attendant.
-An attendant will greet you at the door, explain detailed discharge instructions while a veterinary technician escorts your pet to the front.
We will continue to keep you updated as any additional precautions become necessary. Thank you for your help and understanding during this ever-evolving situation.
Finally, we want you to know that in everything we do, we’re guided by our mission: To improve the lives of Idaho’s cats and dogs by reducing overpopulation with the affordable SNIP Clinic. We know it’s a scary time, but we still need to look out for our animal friends. Stay safe and let us know if we can help your pets.
